Social activities
Our summer schools not only offer a great selection of interesting workshops and scientific visits, they also aim at giving the participants an unforgettable stay in France. All events of the social programme are included in the participation fees.
We invite all students to an attractive social programme including excursions, sports activities and social gatherings. These activities will provide the perfect setting for you to meet your fellow participants and get to know one another!
A group of buddy students will escort you during these events.
A few examples of activities:
- Guided tour of the old city
- Picnic lunch with a view on the castle
- River cruise
- Bowling
- Farewell drinks
Buddy students
A student from the University of Angers will guide your course group during your stay. Our buddy students speak several languages, they have a special interest in internationalisation and they have their hearts set on showing you our beautiful city. They will:
- guide you on the campus and take you to the classrooms
- lead you to the university restaurant, explain what you can have and translate the list of ingredients if needed
- tell you about student life at the University of Angers
- give you useful tips to get around Angers
- etc.
