Health Insurance
It is required that you have adequate health insurance coverage during the Summer School in Angers. Failure to carry insurance can result in the delay or denial of treatment. Please note that your health insurance is on your own responsibility and that the University of Angers won't take any responsibility in case of medical, hospital and repatriation expenses during the Summer School.
Adequate health insurance provides coverage for:
1) Treatment and medications administered overseas,
2) Emergency evacuation should you need to be rushed to a hospital overseas or back to your home country;
If you are an EU citizen, the copy of the European health insurance card is fully enough.
If you are not an EU citizen, please check to see if your current international health insurance provides adequate coverage while you are abroad.
We also recommend you to have a liability insurance/ third party insurance, especially if you consider doing activities other than the ones included in the social program during your stay.
