    How to get to Angers


    Welcoming and organization

    Insofar as possible, a group of students will pick you up at the train station of Angers on Saturday, June 27 and escort you to the student residence.

    You will get a bike and a tramway/bus pass for the length of stay for free.

    The group of students will be in charge of guiding you and taking care of you during your whole stay.

    The first day of the program (Monday, June 29), you will be welcomed by the scientific coordinators and begin the day with a coffe/tea break. Each participant will receive a welcome package.

    Housing and catering 

    By bike the student residence is 15-20 minutes from the city center, 20 minutes from the hospital/Faculty of Health and 2 minutes from the campus Belle-Beille (Bioinformatics & Plant Health & Quality Summer Schools).

    Fully furnished single rooms with bathrooms and showers.

    There are several kitchens on each floor with cooking ustensils that you will share with other students.

    Facilities include:  IT/study room, laundry room, TV lounge, a doorman and a parking. There is WIFI in the residence and in a lot of places in the city.

    Access to the technological platform, university labs, university library, study rooms, multimedia- and videoconference rooms.
