Summer schools in Angers

"The welcoming day was a great opportunity to mingle with the other students"

Cristina Ginés Gallego, 4th year medical student, 19 y.o., Spain, RSSA

  • What would you recommend for the next Summer school’s students ?

I really encourage all the students to participate in this program and I would just recommend them to make the most of this opportunity to learn and enhance their medical knowledge, and more importantly, to get ready to live unforgettable moments and unique experiences with people from all over the world.

  • What did you think of the activities organized by the Summer Schools ?

Overall, the activities of the social program were quite fun and interesting, from kayaking to theatre shows, thereby including cultural, sports and social events.

  • What did you think of the Summer Schools’ courses ?

The contents of the RSSA course were mostly very interesting and, in my opinion, appropriate for the average level of the medical students. All of the lectures were given by research experts with an international career, which was one of the aspects that I appreciated the most.

  • What did you think of the city of Angers ?

It was a nice and cosy city, with a lot of outdoor areas and a dynamic and comprehensive student life, all of which made the integration of the international students much easier.

  • What did you think of the welcoming day ?

The welcoming day was a great opportunity to mingle with the other students and start to know each other, at the same time as we were enjoying a nice barbecue outdoors.

  • Do you have a little story to share with us ?

I had a great time during the two weeks of the RSSA; although it was a quite short time, I could meet wonderful people and make real long-term friendships with some of them. In conclusion, it was a unique experience that I will never forget.
